Dieffenbachia are a compact house plants with wide, decorative, glossy, leaves. Known as the Dumb Cane plant they originate from South America. A large showy plant they are a becoming an increasingly popular houseplant. They are generally an easy going plant and will even flower in the right conditions!Â
How to care for your DieffenbachiaÂ
Water:Â Water once a week during Summer and mist leaves every few days, make sure soil is moist but not soggy, water less frequently in Winter.Â
Light: Dieffenbachia is a low maintenance, air purifier. They thrive well in the shade or low light environments, do not expose to direct sunlight.
Humidity:Â They enjoy humidity, brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low.
Temperature:Â They like warmth, about 20 degrees C.
