Alocasia comes from the family Araceae. There are 79 species native to tropical and subtropical Asia to Eastern Australia. Commonly known as elephant ear Pink Dragon has that classic alocasia leaf look with deep contrasting veins. Beautiful pink stems make this guy a lovely unique plant, extremely decorative and will bring a touch of colour to your home! Alocasia have a lovely vintage vibe as they were extremely popular in homes during the 1950’s!
How to care for your Alocasia –
Water:Â Alocasia need their soil to be moist at all times, do not allow to dry out.
Light:Â They enjoy bright but indirect sunlight, direct sun can scorch the leaves.
Humidity:Â They love warmth and humidity, a bathroom or kitchen would be a perfect spot.
Temperature:Â They prefer warm temperatures about 20 degrees C.
