Polyscias are wonderful additions to indoor spaces, resembling trees without the need for actual tree height. Polyscias balfouriana, with its broad leaves, is a timeless favourite as a classic houseplant.

How to care for your Polyscias balfouriana –

Water: Water thoroughly during the growing season but less so in the winter. Keep moist but do not allow to stand in water. These plants are best watered around the plant and not directly onto the trunk area as watering the centre of the plant may cause it to rot.

Light: They like moderate, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight.

Humidity: They love humidity, would be well suited to a bathroom or kitchen.

Temperature: They enjoy warmth, about 20 degrees C.
