Adenium or Desert Rose as it is commonly know is one of the most popular plants in the world, this plant is even considered by many as sacred by many as each Adenium is so unique and can live for hundreds of years. Native to East Africa it is a small tropical shrub from the Apocynaceae family.
As plants go, this is a voluptuous and curvy number. It may remind you of a ‘Rubenesque-figure’ as shapes go. If you are lucky and patient enough, it may even surprise you with some flowers.Â
How to care for your Adenium –
Water:Â Keep soil fairly dry, water allowing the top inch or two of soil to dry completely before re-watering.Â
Light: They prefer to have as much light as possible, so place the plant in a bright location. Bright, indirect sunlight is best.
Humidity: Regular humidity is sufficient.
Temperature:Â They like warmth, about 20 degrees C.
