Alocasia Curly Bambino or Elephant Ear as it is commonly known has beautiful arrowhead-shaped leaves. The wavy crinkled leaves have large protruding white veins running through them which contrast the rest of the leaf. This form is smaller in stature than Amazonica Polly and is an impressive eye-catcher and a beautiful decorative plant for your home! Alocasia have a lovely vintage vibe as they were extremely popular in homes during the 1950’s!
How to care for your Alocasia –
Water:Â Alocasia need their soil to be moist at all times, do not allow to dry out but be careful not to overwater.
Light:Â They enjoy bright but indirect sunlight, direct sun can scorch the leaves.
Humidity:Â They love warmth and humidity, a bathroom or kitchen would be a perfect spot.
Temperature:Â They prefer warm temperatures about 20 degrees C.
