A cultivar of Caladium Bicolor, this variety’s foliage is very pale with smatters of freckled pink and green margins.Â
- Although large, Caladium leaves are papery thin and delicate so direct light will cause searing brown spots, scorching and/or bleaching.
- Caladium grow from bulbs or tubers, meaning they will go dormant in winter and old foliage must be cut back at this time to make way for new, spring growth.
- There are 1000+ cultivars of Caladium, but each one creates a strong, architectural effect and stands out for its bright, multi-coloured patterning.
How to care for your Caladium –Â
Water:Â When the top 2-3cm of soil becomes dry.
Ideal Position:Â East facing
Light:Â Bright, indirect or filtered light.
Temperature:Â They like warmth, about 20 degrees C.
