The ficus genus belongs to the family of mulberry plants and is the most popular indoor tree species for beginners at Bonsai. Ginseng has a thick trunk and glossy oval shaped leaves. Ficus are still such a popular choice for a houseplant! They remain of of the most frequent plants to be displayed in homes and have never lost their popularity over the decades. Not too tricky to care for with a little TLC you will be so pleased at how well your ficus will thrive!
How to care for your Ficus –
Water: The Ficus should be watered normally, which means it should be given water generously whenever the soil gets slightly dry.
Light: These guys need a lot of sun, full sun would be ideal.
Humidity: They prefer high humidity, if you place them in super high humidity they will product aerial roots.
Temperature: Average room temperature is fine, avoid cold drafts.

Regular pruning is necessary to retain the tree’s shape. Prune back to 2 leaves after 6-8 leaves have grown.
