Senecio Herreianus ‘String of Beads’ is a senecio hybrid similar to ‘String of Pearls’ except the leaves have a more pronounced “bead” shape. This particular one is an XL clone with larger beads Native to Southwest Africa, is a fast growing, trailing succulent – its pendant stems, with pearl-like leaves, can reach as long as 90cm. A lovely low maintenance choice, great for a gift or suitable for a beginner.
How to care for your senecio
Water:Â Water sparingly, allow soil to fully dry out between watering.
Light:Â Like most succulents they will need some sun or bright light to really thrive indoors.Â
Humidity: They don’t need humidity to thrive, they enjoy drier air.
Temperature:Â They like warmer temperatures but can tolerate the cold.Â
